When you're open to suggestion good things happen. I could have ignored my children's suggestion to stop at the lake on the way home to watch the sunset. I could have told them we needed to get ready for bed. I could have told them it was too late or that it didn't look like it would be a very good sunset. Fortunately I was open to their suggestion and we stopped and took the time to watch the sun set. I was a perfectly calm evening and the sky was beautiful. Only one other person stopped in to watch the sun and they left before this photo was taken. Slowing down and taking in our surroundings is truly rewarding.
