I was reminded on this particular morning that you can never be sure of what mother nature has in store. I was hoping for beautiful sunrise light as the sun broke over the horizon. As the sun rose it was blocked by cloud. I contemplated packing up and heading home but the fast moving squalls over the lake kept me interested. As the sun rose higher I watched a band of snow move towards the sun as it passed behind the lighthouse. My reward for waiting and having patience was a beautiful glow and a great sky.
